  1. Musta been hit by a steel-jacketed bullet. It just seems so unlikely to me that a bullet could penetrate a barrel.

    • The Geneva Conventions prohibit soft point bullets. As far as I know, even while the Jews, Gypsies, and other “undesirables” were being gassed and incinerated in boxcar lots, and all sorts of atrocities were being committed in the war in the east, the Nazis used full metal jacketed bullets.
      It’s entirely reasonable to me that the bullet was not only FMJ, but steel core armor-piercing, as well.

  2. Give me a hacksaw, crown tool, and a tig welder and I can make you a sweet desk gun out of that in about 20 minutes! 🙂
